The Porter County Retired Teachers Association (PCRTA) jointly with the Indiana Retired Teachers Association (IRTA) encourages retired teachers to continue their interest and involvement in the community.

Through volunteer work, retired teachers accumulate volunteer hours which are tallied, recorded, and used by the Indiana Retired Teachers Association for Cost of Living (COLA) negotiations with the state legislature. For the past several years, retired teachers in Indiana have recorded more than 1,000,000 hours of volunteer service!

Volunteer hours are generally collected with the fall luncheon registrations. You may, however, click on the formatted link of your choice below for a form to record your volunteer hours. The PCRTA Executive Committee requests all retired teachers to assist in this endeavor by keeping track of and reporting all volunteer service hours.
